It was the gift of fire from Prometheus that gave humanity science, technological development, and civilization. Fire gave humanity hope. Nazarov explores how blockchain will influence and help write the next chapter of human development. What new hope can we as humans have in a world that is streamlining ease of ownership, redefining the idea of what is physical, is trustless, provably fair, and objectively identifiable.
In the Prometheus series, Nazarov explores the birth of a piece of art on the blockchain through NFT technology. Based upon his physical work, The Faithful Feed the Flame, fire lights the way freeing us from the blindness of our caves. Each shifting phase coming out of the darkness is another step towards the physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual advancement of humankind. In the end, we are left with the glorious representation of the realization of our potential only to have the cycle restart anew in darkness, a warning perhaps, that we collectively have so much to gain from the utilization of this fire and even more to lose if we fail to keep it lit for the generations to come.
GROWING WITHIN THE FLAME
The collection, Growing Within The Flame, explores the philosophical concept of recognizing blockchain technology as a gift of fire to the world. Nazarov visualizes blockchain solutions as a new flame that will influence the next chapter of human development. A single spark that forced the darkness into retreat and propelled us into the stars has brought society to where we find ourselves today. Humanity once looked to the sky for their future but now this new technology has brought that promise of answers in the stars into our hands. Nazarov explores the implications of the technology as it moves from hand to permeate the mind and soul, forever changing what it means to be human.
